Masons in the Hastings Community
Dakota Lodge is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the following activities in Hastings.
Hastings High School Scholarship
Each year, applications are accepted from graduating high school students to receive a scholarship for post education. The scholarship is awarded at the high school spring program.

Hastings Rivertown Days
Rivertown Days are an exciting event with a parade in July, sponsored by the Hastings chamber of commerce. The Masons have provided concessions sales every year since it started.

Hastings Family Services Food Shelf
In December we have a special holiday visitor named Santa. We invite children to come to speak to Santa and receive a picture for an nominal fee. Proceeds go to the Hastings food shelf.

Adopt a Park and Adopt a River
Partnered with Kennedy 4th grade elementary class, and a Boy Scouts troop, Masons regularly clean up the park grounds and a section of the banks of the vermillion river.

Pancake Breakfasts
Several Sunday mornings during the year the Masons have the largest, most delicious pancake and french toast with sausage breakfast in Hastings. And we are all very proud of it!
